APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Industry veteran joins the Norwell VNA
February 16, 2007 (NORWELL, MA) – Meg Doherty, Executive Director of the Norwell Visiting
Nurse Association (VNA), has announced the appointment of David Tagliamonte as the organization’s new Chief Financial
Officer (CFO). In his new position, Tagliamonte will be responsible for all aspects of the agency’s financial operations,
including financial reporting, reimbursements, cash management and budgeting.
Having served the Norwell VNA in a consulting capacity for the past two years, Tagliamonte is quite familiar with the
agency’s operations and staff. He brings over 30 years of healthcare financial management experience to his new role.
Prior to joining the Norwell VNA, Tagliamonte held similar positions, first as controller of the VNA of Central
Massachusetts in Worcester, and most recently as CFO of Caritas Home Care in Norwood.
“I am excited about taking on the challenges associated with my new position,” said Tagliamonte. “The Norwell VNA is
extremely respected in the communities it serves, and I look forward to being a part of the further growth of this
excellent organization.”

Tagliamonte holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H., as well as an MBA from Babson College,
Wellesley, Mass., and a Master of Accountancy degree from Bentley College, Waltham, Mass. He lives in Foxborough, Mass.,
with his wife Ellie. Tagliamonte is an amateur saxophonist and is a member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Wind Symphony.
The Norwell Visiting Nurse Association, located in Norwell, provides nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy,
speech therapy, nutritional counseling, home health aides/homemakers and a variety of support services and programs
to patients of all ages and for all needs. The Norwell VNA has been serving the community since 1920 providing
services to residents in Norwell, Scituate, Abington, Braintree, Cohasset, Duxbury, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham,
