NORWELL VNA LAUNCHES NEW ‘NVNA TV CHANNEL’
Watch and Learn From Home!
May 21, 2007 (NORWELL, MA) – The Norwell Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) has taken its website to the next level with the addition of the NVNA TV Channel.
By clicking on the television icon in the lower left corner of the Norwell VNA website homepage (www.nvna.org), viewers can choose from two channels. Channel 1 currently features clips highlighting the Norwell VNA’s history as well as the organization’s involvement in the community, while Channel 2 includes clips from last year’s annual meeting. As more videos are developed, the channels will be updated to feature instructional videos and future annual meetings.
“We are very excited that we have been able to add this new technology to our website,” said Meg Doherty, Executive Director of the Norwell VNA. “By incorporating instructional videos on our site, we have the ability to reach people we may not have before. The videos that we add will provide visual information that will enable clients to care for themselves or for loved ones without ever having to leave home.”
The NVNA TV Channel uses one of the newest and most reliable video publishing systems available. The Norwell VNA enlisted Tom and Reiko Beach, founders of TRB Design, Inc., to assist in the implementation of this new technology to their site. Located in Norwell, TRB Design provides the most current communication opportunities for their clients including the design and implementation of web TV channels.
