THE BRAIN ANEURYSM SURVIVOR’S CHALLENGES
Norwell VNA Brain Aneurysm Support Group Meets April 9th
March 10, 2008 – Brain aneurysm survivors face an assortment of physical and emotional challenges in their every day lives. Each survivor’s experiences and feelings are unique. According to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, gathering information on the condition can help ease fear, begin the healing process and bring a sense of comfort and support to brain aneurysm survivors.
The Norwell Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) hopes to provide survivors with this comfort at their next Brain Aneurysm Support Group on Wednesday April 9, 2008 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Norwell VNA, located at 91 Longwater Circle in Norwell. The group will host Gail Bickford, a brain aneurysm survivor, who will be on hand to lead a program entitled “The Brain Aneurysm Survivor’s Challenges.” Group organizers hope that Bickford’s story will help others cope with the trials they face.
Supported by the Friends of the Norwell VNA, the Brain Aneurysm Support Group is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided and there is plenty of free, handicapped-accessible parking. For more information about this support group or the Norwell VNA, please visit the website at www.nvna.org or call 781-659-2342.
