SCOTT WAHLE HONORARY CHAIR FOR NORWELL VNA’S 10TH ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT

June 11, 2008 –Television personality Scott Wahle has accepted Honorary Chair duties for the Norwell VNA’s 10th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which will be held on Monday, July 28 at the Cohasset Golf Club. Wahle will join other golfers and supporters of the non-profit homecare and hospice agency for an afternoon of golf and an evening dinner and auction designed to raise funds for services and programs provided by Norwell VNA to over 20 communities on the South Shore. A formidable raffle has been organized in addition to a live and silent auction, with the bonus prize gifting a trip for two to London, with roundtrip airfare from Boston to London and five nights lodging in London included. agency underwrites free care as needed as well as provides a considerable amount of free educational programs, support groups, and health screening clinics throughout the South Shore. In 2007 alone, the Norwell VNA assumed the expense of underfunded and free care in excess of $1 million. The fee to golf is $200 and includes 18 holes, a cart and golf items, a box lunch and the evening dinner. Tickets for the dinner and auction only are being reserved for $60 each.
