Are
you or someone you love dealing with cancer? Would you welcome the opportunity
to talk to others who are experiencing the same challenges and feelings?
Norwell VNA (NVNA) and Hospice is offering an 8 week Cancer Support Group*
at Southern Artery in Quincy. Open to individuals over age 60, the group is
designed for people with any cancer diagnosis who are at any point in their
cancer journey. With the help of a licensed professional facilitator,
participants can share their cancer experiences, learn about coping strategies
and ways to enhance quality of life while living with cancer, and find
emotional support among peers. The group meets for 1.5 hours weekly over the
course of 8 weeks and is limited to 10 participants for maximum therapeutic
benefit. Pre-registration is required and each registrant will be contacted by
the facilitator prior to the first meeting. For more information or to
