Charity Golf Tournament: This event is the Norwell VNA's largest fundraiser of the year and takes place at one of the region's premiere golfing venues. Participants enjoy a full day of festivities, including lunch, a day of friendly competition on the greens, a post-game dinner, awards ceremony, raffle and silent auction. Proceeds from the event benefit the Norwell VNA as it continues to provide quality, low-cost home healthcare and free support services to South Shore residents. Tournament held annually in the summer. See 'upcoming events' for dates   Holiday Lights on Norwell Common: This beloved annual event transforms Norwell's historic Cushing Center and nearby Norwell Common into a winter wonderland. Families enjoy an afternoon of festive holiday music, caroling and refreshments, as well as a visit from Santa Claus and the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree on Norwell Common. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Norwell VNA and the Norwell Men's Club, this event is open to the public at no charge. Event held annually at the beginning of December. See 'upcoming events' for dates   Valentine Tea Party: The Friends of the Norwell VNA sponsor this special, "heartwarming" event each year, just in time for Valentine's Day. Local residents bring their children to partake in refreshments, crafts, music, cookie decorating and an exciting raffle, featuring a variety of fun prizes. Little girls traditionally wear their prettiest dress and are encouraged to bring along a favorite doll or stuffed animal to pose for a commemorative photo while enjoying afternoon tea.
