Learn More About What We Do

How does NVNA and Hospice work?

We support what everyone wants—care at home.  Advanced technology helps us care for complex patients in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by friends and family.

Patients have a choice and can ask for NVNA and Hospice by name. When your doctor, hospital or skilled nursing facility recommends home, palliative or hospice care. We exist to support our neighbors in 27 South Shore communities. Just give us a call and we will work with your healthcare provider to get you started. (781) 659-2342

What do my donations support?

As an independent community charity, our mission is fueled by philanthropy. Donations can support anything from providing free care to eligible Pat Roche Hospice Home residents to honoring loved ones to supporting nursing scholarships and education. We work with donors to ensure that each gift matches their personal philanthropic priorities.  Generous neighbors like you and community-minded companies make everything possible. Thank you!

What is palliative care?

Palliative care is a holistic, person-centered approach that improves the quality of life and relieves the suffering of patients and families living with serious illness.

Palliative care is all about what is most important to YOU as a whole person – not just your diagnosis.
