Dear Friends,

We concluded 2022 facing the reality that federal healthcare cuts were inevitable. But we have remained resolute that we will advance.

Structuring and defining our future is dependent upon our reaction to a pay system that undervalues our services. It is our reality, however frustrating, but we must claim the pieces we can control: generous philanthropic donors, thoughtful volunteer board counsel, and the highest level of patient care. These assets put us on solid ground today.

It is our fervent belief that we have a solid strategic case which will allow us to weather the current unsteadiness of Medicare, our largest payor. An important part of that strategic case is community investment.

Our continued gratitude to all of you for your tireless work on behalf of our mission.

We are humbled by your kindness and understand that we are stewards of this goodwill. On behalf of the patients and families we serve, thank you.

Sincerely,
