Certified home care services are ordered by a physician, require skilled care (e.g. a nurse and/ or physical therapist), and are paid for by Medicare or other health insurances.

Palliative care is a holistic, person-centered approach that improves the quality of life and relieves the suffering of patients and families living with serious illness.

Palliative care is all about what is most important to you as a whole person, not just your diagnosis.

In addition to our in-home hospice services, our beautiful 12-bed hospice home in Hingham provides a dignified and peaceful environment for residents facing a life limiting illness.

We are the first non-profit, independent hospice home of our kind on the South Shore.

Our private pay services provide home health care for your loved ones. Our nurse-led staff of caregivers, homemakers, and companions provide a variety of supportive services that help promote the safety and security of clients and their environments.

Support

As part of our charitable mission,  NVNA and Hospice offers wellness and public health services to neighbors in our community. From illness support groups to bereavement groups and individual grief counseling, our continuum of care extends to the whole family.
