Working Together to Get Patients Home
COVID-19 Resources
During these challenging times, we at NVNA and Hospice continue to be able to care for your patients. This includes certified home care, palliative care, hospice, PT, OT, ST, the Pat Roche Hospice Home and private care. We are using telehealth systems to monitor our patients and connect them with their primary care provider. New guidance deems anyone over aged-60 to be “home bound.” We are here to help. We share the same goals to keep your patients safe at home.
Thank you for partnering with us. We are so proud of our staff who stand ready to care for our South Shore friends and neighbors.
We are accepting COVID-19 positive and COVID-19 pending patients at this time for home patients only (not for the Pat Roche Hospice Home or for NVNA WORKS private care). Our clinicians are using the appropriate PPE for all our patients, based on the CDC and Mass DPH guidance. If we have an influx of COVID-19 (+) patient referrals, we may have to look at them on a case by case basis. However, we plan to keep you updated if that were to happen in the future. Case Managers MUST inform us up front with the initial referral that the patient is positive for COVID-19 or is COVID-19 pending and that there is a skill for home care services.

Palliative Care Specialty Professional Service – Partnering with Primary Care
Our physician and nurse practitioners work to support busy primary care practitioners as an extension of their team. If you are a healthcare provider and have a patient who might benefit from palliative care please contact our team for a consultation.
