Palliative Care for our Hingham, MA, Patients

Private Duty Services 

If you are considering care services in the comfort of your home, NVNA offers private-duty caregivers to assist with daily living activities and enhance their care. We strive to provide the best services for you--care is customized to address each client's needs, and our staff is trained to maintain high-quality standards. 

How is NVNA's Private Care Different from the Others?

As part of the full continuum of care provided by NVNA and Hospice, our private duty division is a nurse-led private care agency. Our caregivers are trained to alert our nurses if they observe any changes in a client's health, ensuring prompt attention and coordination of additional services if required. With a seamless delivery system, we offer a comprehensive range of certified home care services that can be expanded as needed, including palliative care and hospice. Rest assured that your loved one's evolving care needs will be met without the hassle of changing or adding agencies.


Types of Care: 

  • Caregivers: Our certified LPNs, CNAs, home health aides, or personal care attendants are trained to provide hands-on personal care.

  • Clinical Services: We offer private duty nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to meet clients’ complex medical needs or rehabilitative requirements.

  • Homemakers: Homemakers provide assistance in the home to ensure that the environment is safe and secure.

  • Companions: Companions offer comfort and company inside and outside the home.

  • Special Services: Our private duty division has developed services that cater to our clients with special needs, including those with life-limiting illnesses, Alzheimer’s, and dementia, or care for two people in the same home.
